Leaders + Members

Causa Justa :: Just Cause prioritizes developing the leadership of our members and base. To this end, we create mechanisms through which members actively participate in the work of the organization as well as through leadership development programs, skills trainings, know-your-rights trainings and political education. Our trainings help members develop their skills in areas such as outreach, public speaking, campaign development and action planning. Our political education sessions cover topics ranging from discrimination, gentrification and immigration to the histories of struggle both in U.S. communities of color as well as those in other countries that resonate with our own struggles at home. In addition to general membership meetings, which orient new members to our work, our lead members participate in meetings to discuss, plan and decide our campaigns.
