Mass March Saturday, Dec 3 in SF, Dec 6, Oakland

dec3Banks: No more Evictions and Foreclosures for Profit!

Join tenant and homeowner groups together with Occupy SF for a Mass March on Saturday, Dec 3, 2011.

From the subprime mortgage crisis that began our current recession, to bank bailouts, the rising rates of homelessness and policies like the Ellis Act that prioritize profit over people, housing has been central to the occupy movement in San Francisco, and around the country.

We gather and rally in four neighborhoods in San Francisco which have experienced high rates of evictions for profit, and highlight the local struggles of the 99% against banks, and greedy real estate speculators. Then join us for a mass march at 3pm from Justin Herman Plaza to demand housing justice and corporate accountability.

Neighborhood actions kick off in the following locations and ending in a Mass March at 3pm at Justin Herman Plaza to Wells Fargo!

  1. Bayview: 11am, 3rd and Palou
Castro: 12pm, Harvey Milk Plaza (Castro and Market)
Mission: 1pm, corner of 24th and Mission
    Tenderloin: 2pm, Civic Center
