Si usted no es un ciudadano de los Estados Unidos y un agente de inmigración solicita sus documentos de inmigración, puede permanecer en silencio y entregarles una Tarjeta de Derechos.

- For example, if you have a valid work permit or green card, be sure to have it with you in case you need to show it for identification purposes.
- Do not carry papers from another country with you, such as a foreign passport, foreign identification, this documentation can be used against you in the deportation process.

Ask to see a Search Warrant, If the official does not show you one, you do not have to open the door.
ICE must have a warrant signed by a judge.
- To be valid, the warrant must have your correct name, address, date of birth, and signed by a judge.
If an ICE agent wants to show you a warrant, they can hold it against a window or slide it under the door.

Do not open your door unless an ICE agent shows you a warrant. (They almost never have one.)

You do not need to open the door to talk with an ICE agent. Once you open the door, it is much harder to refuse to answer questions or allow them inside, you lose some of your rights.
Do not answer questions. Do not show any documents if the officials do not show you a Search Warrant.
- Do not answer questions on how or when you arrived to the United States.
Do not sign anything, especially an Order of Voluntary Departure, without first talking to a lawyer.
