Black and Brown solidarity, a vital aspect of this collective struggle, transcends racial and ethnic boundaries to unite individuals of various backgrounds in the fight against systemic injustice. While often associated with Latino communities, true solidarity encompasses all brown people, including Indigenous folks and Middle Easterners.

Palestinians, who have long grappled with state violence, oppression, and occupation have offered unwavering support to BLM activists in the fight against police brutality and systemic racism.

Following the murder of Mike Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014, Palestinian activists reached out to protesters to share their experiences and strategies for resisting state violence. Drawing from their own struggles against occupation and apartheid, Palestinians provided invaluable guidance on tactics such as organizing protests, documenting human rights abuses, and confronting tear gas and other forms of repression.
